The Shebandowan Smallmouth Showdown is a bass tournament located on Shebandowan Lake near Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. The tournament was created in the spring of 2004 and has had full fields since it's inception. The concept was simple. A meeting was organized on a local fishing forum to create a bass tournament near Thunder Bay for anglers in the region to compete in. The ideas of specific lakes were mentioned and Shebandowan Lake was chosen for it's location near Thunder Bay and the surrounding area, it's parking and, of course, it's smallmouth bass! Thus the Shebandown Smallmouth Showdown was born! |
