Derek Campbell and Cory Nephin have done the impossible and successfully defended their 2009 S.S.S. championship and toppled the competition with an impressive weight of 30.03 pounds to win the 2010 S.S.S. They also won the Bernie Schnieders Memorial Big Bass Award with a smallmouth bass weighing 3.95 lbs!

Rob Prodocimo and Andy Colla took 2nd place with 26.85 lbs.

Trevor Zimak and Ken Zimak took 3rd place with 26.63 lbs.

Bernie Schnieders Memorial Big Bass Award

Bernie Schnieders, age 49 years, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 10, 2005.

Bernie will be missed in our fishing community. Bernie loved his walleye fishing but he holds a world record live release smallmouth bass. Bernie will be remembered at the Shebandowan Smallmouth Showdown each year by awarding the Bernie Schnieders Memorial Big Bass Award, which is given to the heaviest bass caught during the tournament.
